Shipping and Returns

 

Shipping:

  • Where it states: "FREE SHIPPING" or "Shipping Included", what locations does this include? 

    • This means coast-to-coast within the continental United States.  This does not include Alaska or Hawaii for instance.
    • This also means the cost of shipping is included in the price.
  • How much lead time is necessary from the time a part is ordered until the time the part is shipped?

    • Some parts are in stock and ready to ship while others have to be custom made at the customer’s request.  It will typically take up to 1 to 2 weeks from the time the part is ordered and made, until the part is ready for shipment.  If for some reason it may take longer, I will contact you and let you know.  Please send an email or call to inquire if a part is in stock or needs to be custom made for you.

International Shipping and Handling:

  • International shipping can be made available although this website is set up for domestic shipping.  International orders should contact HiPoTek via email at richard@hi-potek.com to inquire about the extra shipping and handling charges to their destination.

Return Policy:

  1. Any discrepancy must be reported within 7 days of receiving the item.  This includes verifying parts are correct and packaged properly.
  2. If returns are possible, they must be within 30-days of delivery.
  3. If returns are possible, advanced approval and authorization must be obtained.  Otherwise, the return will be refused.
  4. If returns are possible, there can be anywhere from a 15-50% restocking fee, depending upon the manufacturer/supplier.
  5. The customer is responsible for all shipping and return shipping fees.
  6. Foreign orders (outside of the continental USA) must be accepted by the customer from the shipping carrier.   Items not accepted by the customer will be treated as abandoned orders with no return or refund possible.  Any possible returns must be approved and authorized in advance.  Any possible return shipping will be paid by the customer.  
  7. There are no returns on special order, custom, machined, or fabricated parts.
  8. There are no returns on opened, or damaged parts from improper use or installation. This includes parts that are dirty, scratched, or have been bolted on, and bear witness marks of installation.
  9. There are no returns on electrical parts. 
  10. If returns are possible, you must obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number in advance.
