This kit is an upgrade for the Dodge Magnum aluminum Edelbrock heads part number 61779 and 61769.  It enables the use of a higher lift cam and spring pressures than the Edelbrock heads are equipped with from Edelbrock.  No machining necessary for installation.

This is a powerful cast iron replacement head for Small Block Magnum applications.

This head is designed for use with the Magnum intake manifold, rocker arms, and valve covers. The MA-X head features a Magnum pedestal that is large enough to enable 7/16”-14 drilling and tapping for use with stud-mounted rocker arms and guide plates. A cast iron replacement, the 360 X Head series is designed for Magnum applications (318-360-415cid). With a host of additions and improvements over the factory originals, these heads are an easy way to get 400 to 550 horsepower out of your Mopar-powered street machine.  Features of these impressive heads include 179cc intake and 67cc exhaust runners, a 62cc combustion chamber, multi-angle intake and hardened radiused exhaust valve seats, an improved valve guide design and a highly efficient water jacket to prevent engine hot spots. The 360 X Cylinder Heads also come with an extra thick deck surface to enable angle milling for compression.

Designed for 1992 & later 5.2L (318 c.i.d.) and 1993 & later 5.9L (360 c.i.d.) Chrysler Magnum V8s, the Performer RPM Chrysler Magnum heads give substantial performance improvements for street/strip and off-road performance use. They offer an easy bolt-on upgrade for these modern engines with substantial out-of-the-box performance gains. Stock Magnum intake and exhaust flange and port locations make this an ideal choice for use with stock equipment. These heads feature 176cc intake ports and 75cc exhaust ports with 58cc combustion chambers for a slight increase in compression over the factory heads. 2.02" intake and 1.60" exhaust valves with 11/32" stems offer more flow than stock and they accept adjustable aftermarket rocker arms. Sold individually and requires hardened push rods.
