DRIVETRAIN Pictured are 2 Modified Differential Covers using the Magnetic Drain and Threaded Fill Plug Weld-On Kit. The Magnetic Drain Plug and Threaded Fill Plug Kit, as well as the Modified Differential Covers, allow for the draining and filling of the differential fluid without the messy removal of the differential cover, cleaning the gasket debris from the cover and housing, and replacing the differential cover gasket. This will save time and money during future fluid changes. The magnetic drain plug will also be indicative of excessive wear within your differential unit by collecting metal filings. The threaded fill plug eliminates the OEM rubber fill plug that tends to leak, and can be difficult to remove and install without damaging it (such as the Chrysler 8.25 and 9.25 rear ends). It also allows for a convenient inspection/fill hole for those differential covers that came with a small fill plug, or for those without one.
